C. GREGORY BURGESS represents clients in both state and federal courts and has experience in a wide range of civil litigation matters.  Mr. Burgess’ practice focuses on the defense of police officers and municipalities in lawsuits involving civil rights claims under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and related state-law torts.  Mr. Burgess received his J.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude and served as an editor on the Alabama Law Review.
