LAUREN A. SMITH practices in the area of municipal defense, with an emphasis on the defense of police civil liability cases in both federal and state courts. Ms. Smith received her J.D. degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she received several awards for achieving the highest grade in an individual course and was a member of Pacific-McGeorge’s nationally-ranked mock trial team. Ms. Smith also holds a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Ms. Smith is a member of the Alabama State Bar, and the Huntsville Madison-County Bar Association.
