NORI D. HORTON practices in the area of municipal defense, with an emphasis on the defense of police civil liability cases in both federal and state court. Ms. Horton also has experience in the areas of general civil litigation, employment law, business litigation, and personal-injury litigation. Ms. Horton received her J.D. degree from Pepperdine School of Law, where she was a member of their nationally ranked appellate advocacy team and received several awards, including best brief at the Federal Bar Association’s annual moot court competition. Ms. Horton also holds a B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Auburn University. Ms. Horton is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the State Bar of California, the Huntsville Madison-County Bar Association, and Defense Research Institute.
